O2S vs SharePoint - easily resize columns

If there is lot of information stored in SharePoint then views can easily look like this :

SharePoint Resize Column

Would it be nice if user can resize the columns as they are used to like in Excel? In SharxX Office 2 SharePoint (O2S) this is now possible -

O2S vs SharePoint - Multi Lookup-Field rendering improvement

Have you ever had the problem in SharePoint that your view looks like this (one field e.g. multi-lookup or multiline text field with lot of data in it):

Multilookup SharePoint - Problem with lot of values

Of course user are not really happy with this - think about a mail library with lot of mails with CC Receipients and you only see one mail each page. Now we implemented a solution for this in SharxX Office 2 SharePoint (O2S) and we think that your users will love this

Of course filtering for one or multiple values is working.

Upload mail attachment from mail

If you ever have the need to access a mail attachment in an outlook mail over the DataObject during drag and drop operations:

You should be aware that is not possible to resolve 'FileContents' data format identifier from managed 'DataObject' using 'GetDataPresent()' method.

However, it's enumerated in 'DataObject.Formats' list:

So now O2S is also supporting this feature - upload an attached mail from an email

Office 2 SharePoint now supports ADFS

The new version 3.3.3 of SharxX Office 2 SharePoint now supports ADFS authentication and therefore single-sign-on far beyond the boundaries of the individual enterprise is possible. E.g. an authentication from a local active directory user in Office 365 will be now possible without providing additional user and password data.

Through this software parameters ADFS for Office 2 SharePoint over e.g. software deployement can be configured:

  <!-- Optional. One or more ADFS Realms speparated by ';'. -->
  <web.security.authentication.providers.adfs.realms Overwrite="True" Value=""/>

  <!-- Optional. One or more ADFS servers for authenticating the user separated by ';'. -->
  <web.security.authentication.providers.adfs.servers Overwrite="True" Value=""/>

A good guide for ADFS and the possibilities you can find here - http://summit7systems.com/claims-based-authentication-adfs-3-0-and-sharepoint-2013-beginners-guide/

If you have additional questions for ADFS you can reach us over support@sharxx.com (also if you have questions about installing and configuration ADFS or implement your own ADFS provider)
